The Bandager
Joost (29) is a bandager. He cares for the ailing legs of elderly people in Amsterdam, a city that cannot offer him or his friends a home. The contrast between his wandering existence and that of his patients, who are bound to their large and cluttered houses, grows ever starker.
The Bandager is a gripping novel about loneliness and security, about remembering and forgetting.
